TODO MUNDO SE ESPERABA TANTO EL REGRESO DE BRITNEY APENAS HACE 24 HORAS SE ESTRENO EL NUEVO SENCILLO DE BRITNEY TITULADO “GIMME MORE”.
Gimme More parece que esta causando conmoción. El single ya es #80 en el mediabase pop y dicen que para la semana ya podría debutar en el Billboard Hot100! Todos afirman que la canción va genial y más cuando ni hace 24 horas que se estrenó! En Kiss Fm hay una encuesta sobre que nos parece Gimme More y va ganando con un 77% el EXCELENTE! Mientras en Z100 Gimme More ya es #1 a solo 15 horas de su estreno (batiendo record)

Q. What are some of the recent projects that you’ve been working on?

A. I’ve had some time off this hiatus and its’ been really nice to just rest, but I plan to be a part of two films later in the year.

Q. The fourth season of “The L Word” began in January. What can you tell us is new this season with your character and the show?

A. Well, the season is almost over, so I think people have a good idea what’s going on. I think she is the most vulnerable this year and that rough exterior is starting to crack. That’s not to say all her walls are going to come crashing down, far from it.

Q. What is it about your role as Shane that continues to challenge you as an actress?

A. I’m always curious to see where she goes from season to season. We all get a broad stroke of where our characters are going at the beginning of each season. The fun part is adding the color and detail. I think Shane is slowly growing up but still making mistakes along the way. I enjoy her flaws and discomfort because to me, that’s human nature.

Q. What do you think it is about the show that continues to draw so many viewers in?

A. Well, considering its the only show about lesbians; that peaks the curiosity factor alone. But I would like to think that after that initial titillation factor has passed; people stay involved because of these strong complex characters. They all go through the gamut of everyday Emotions, whether it pertains to themselves or their relationships. That’s not to say its a little off the wall, but its entertainment. It’s the kind of show where you can yell at your TV or laugh or maybe sometimes cry.

Q. Did you think a lot of fans would be wary of season four because they were so unhappy over Dana’s death?

A. Oh, for sure. How could they not. We felt the same way walking into season 4. There wasn’t a day we didn’t mention Erin and how much we missed her.

Q. Do you think the show dealt with the way Dana had her cancer in a real way or do you think it was too short a period?

A. I’ve gone off the handle on this topic already. But yes, it was way too short for my taste.

Q. Your character has gone through such a vast range of emotions throughout the four seasons. Where do you draw your experiences from for your portrayals?

A. It really depends on each situation. Most of the time, a lot of her baggage reflects things in my life in some form or another. I just try to grab things from my life and make it reflect what she is going through.

Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A. The everyday stuff, errands, decorating, friends, sleep, Tivo; nothing monumental but it makes me feel like me.

Q. Is there anything else in the entertainment business besides acting that you’d like to try your hand at?

A. If anything, producing. I’m starting to do a little bit of it and I really enjoy it.

Q. What would you like to say to all of your fans and supporters?

A. Thank you for your patience, opinions and loyalty. This wouldn’t exist without you.

La primera de toda ellas tiene nombre y apellido: Malaya Rivera, según informan en Variety y recoge ya una de las páginas no oficiales de la serie. Su personaje, posiblemente llamado Monique, será la asistente de Mia Kirshner (Jenny)… pobre de ella que no sabe donde se mete.

No he podido averiguar mucho más que todas las demás que han escrito sobre el tema, es decir, que ha trabajado en algún episodio de “CSI Miami”, “Las Vegas” y “ER”, entre otras, siendo precisamente este último papel (Katey Alvaro) el que me permite poneros un vídeo de ella para que os vayáis quedando con su cara. “All I want for Christmas is You” de fondo… una canción muy apropiada teniendo en cuenta que la Quinta Temporada se estrena en Enero.

Más cositas en plan su dice, se cuenta, se rumorea, por lo tanto, nada confirmado pero que puede darnos alguna pista: títulos que se barajan para los cuatro primeros capítulos:

Por lo demás, parece que Tina vuelve al mercado, Jenny dirigirá su propia película, Paige dejará a Shane después de pillarla con otra, a Helena la arrestarán por robar el dinero de Catherine y… hasta ahí puedo leer. Aun así, tene en cuenta que esto último lo saco de fuentes no del todo fiables, como por ejemplo cuando afirmaron que Katherine Moennig se raparía la cabeza en la cuarta…

Por otro lado tengo algo de informacion de el personaje de Katherine Moennig (Shane McCutcheon)

El atractivo de los imposibles. Shane está por encima del, no siempre falso, rol hombre-mujer en las relaciones lésbicas, una ambigüedad sexual en la que no pierde su lado femenino, siendo tanto la protectora como la protegida… y es que a la pobre no le sale nada a derechas

Empezó con ese encanto que tienen aquellas personas que huyen del compromiso, que nunca se quedan a desayunar y que por esa misma razón levantan pasiones allí donde van… algo que sin duda, y desde su relación con Carmen, se echa de menos, ya que su personaje se ha convertido en la sombra de lo que era, en una chica desvalida impropia de su carácter inicial, al menos quedan esas escenas subidas de tono en las que a más de una le gustaría estar entre sus manos.

Un pasado marcado por la prostitución y las drogas, abandonada por su familia a la que reencuentra parcialmente para volver a quedarse sola. Y es que en las últimas temporadas el miedo a convertirse en su padre le ha llevado a madurar y a huir al mismo tiempo, a encontrar nuevas responsabilidades y a un intento desesperado de recuperar aquello que nunca tuvo, pero que desde luego no hallará con Paige, que abandona la serie

Los rumores apuntan tanto a que volverá a las andadas como a seguir perdiendo aquello que más quiere, y es que hay quien dice que su negocio será pasto de las llamas… Al menos, con Ilene Chaiken al mando, que en los últimos años ha buscado mostrar el lado menos frívolo de la realidad sin perder el sentido del humor, espero que Shane vuelva a recuperar el lado morboso y seguro de sí misma, dejándose de “parejeos” sin sentido, que para eso ya están las demás… bueno, salvo una excepción que todas esperamos como agua de mayo.
